He had to patrol the perimeter of the base, and nobody else volunteered because it was too hot. He was almost forced to do this, but the more alone time he had, the better it felt being alone. After being out for a lot longer he started to feel tired. Great, heat exhaustion. He made his way back to the base just before he passed out. His friends dragged him back inside, and tended to him.
