Mai gathers a random sample of 30 students at her school and asks them whether they would be willing to start and end the school day 1 hour later than usual. 27 of the students agree that this would be a good idea. Mai goes to the principal and says, "Exactly 90% of all of the students in the school think it’s a good idea to start and end the school day an hour later than usual!"
